Senior and Caregiver Programs

(En EspaƱol)

Cornerstone helps seniors in our community be independent and continue to live in their homes and with their caregivers to provide the best possible care to their loved ones while balancing other aspects of their lives.

Cornerstone Adult Day Center
Cornerstone Adult Day Center located in Morris Plains offers comprehensive affordable day services that meet the physical, emotional and social needs of seniors and their caregivers. To assist working families and caregivers, we open our doors early, stay late, and provide round trip transportation. Our guests participate in a number of planned therapeutic activities and enjoy nutritious lunch and snacks in a safe and secure environment.

Memory Lane
Cornerstone’s experts in senior care created the Memory Lane day program to help seniors with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease and their families cope with the many challenges surrounding this disease. This innovative program enables the senior to live at home with their family and remain integrated in their community, while retaining a sense of self.  We use the latest research, offering light sensory, tactile, and memory stimulating audiovisual tools to maintain cognitive and physical functioning for as long as possible.

Morris View Health Center Social Work
Cornerstone partners with Morris County to provide full complement of social work services focusing on advocacy and sustained quality of life for senior residents of Morris View Healthcare Center.

Friends of the Blind
Friends of the Blind links visually impaired individuals in the community with volunteers who provide support and friendship to help maximize independence.
