Prevention services at Cornerstone Family Programs address individual, family, and community issues related to substance use, abuse, and dependency through outreach and education.
Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC)
The Intoxicated Drivers Resource Center (IDRC) offers the mandatory 12-hours of education for those individuals convicted of a driving under the influence offense or other alcohol and/or drug related driving violation. Now You Know
Do you know a teen that may be at risk for substance abuse? Would you like to educate your child on the dangers of underage drinking, prescription and other drug abuse before they enter high school or go off to college?
If so, refer them to Now You Know, our freesubstance abuse prevention and education program for Morris County teens age 13-18.Our goal is to prevent substance abuse before there is a major problem.
First Step (Community Soup Kitchen)
First Step is an innovative program providing outreach services for those seeking help for substance use or abuse. The addictions outreach program provides education, information and referral services for guests at the Morristown Community Soup Kitchen. Outreach services are provided to soup kitchen guests interested in receiving services for themselves, family members or friends who suffer with addiction issues. Case management services are also available through the addiction outreach program counselor.
